Gwen Paker Green

An operatic soprano by trade, fundraising professional Gwen Green, CFRE is a systems-thinker and gregarious socializer, prioritizing a data-driven approach to fundraising while building heartfelt, genuine relationships with donors of all types. Her approach is a perfect mix of strong analytics, reliable research, and social expertise. 

She currently serves as the Director of Development at The Hochstein School, where she also enjoys teaching voice lessons as a member of the faculty. She has previously held positions at Finger Lakes Opera, where she now serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the Community Engagement Committee.

Gwen received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Voice Performance from the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music and a Certificate in Arts Leadership from Eastman's Institute for Music Leadership. She is an active member in the Genesee Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. In February 2026, Gwen earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification. 

In all of her work as a performer, teacher, and arts leader, Gwen supports diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and is a strong advocate for increased equity and justice in opera, music education, and beyond. These values have led her to manage administrative coordination for Hochstein's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Roundtable.
